How to foster AN ANIMAL
All of the animals you see on our site have been either abandoned or removed from their owners due to neglect, cruelty, or unsafe confinement. While the animals are legally the property of Skagit County Animal Control, SAIN arranges the care of these animals. We rely on volunteer foster homes since we do not currently have a physical facility. All care is paid for by donations. If you are interested in fostering an animal please contact Officer Emily Diaz at 360-416-1912. You can also fill out a foster application (below) and email it to SAINAdoptions@gmail.com.
If you would rather print out and mail your application, click on the file below.
How to adopt a SAIN Animal
Animals are available to approved homes only. The cost of each animal is by donation. A reference check, site check, and a no-breeding contract will be required. If you are interested in adopting an animal please contact Officer Emily Diaz at 360-416-1912. You can also fill out an adoption application and email it to SAINAdoptions@gmail.com.
If you would like to volunteer
Much of the work that goes into these animals is provided by the foster families and our Board of Directors. However, we always welcome help from the community with the following activities: fundraising, marketing, committees, promotional events, transporting, cleaning stalls, moving and/or storing hay, etc. If you are willing to volunteer your time, please fill out a volunteer application and a liability release (BELOW) and mail it to us (S.A.I.N., P.O. Box 200, Bow, WA 98232) or send it to SAINVolunteers@gmail.com.
